5 Irish Instagram Accounts to Follow This January

It’s great to have a browse through the #irishinteriors selection on Instagram – it leads to some marvellous new discoveries and accounts from across the country showcasing their own personal and professional approach to decor and interior style. We’ve picked five posts/accounts that really stood out to us!

@retwiggd

Sarah Twigg Doyle is giving us some seriously gorgeous green tones in this image. We’re crazy about the aquamarine cabinet and green wall colouring, as well as the parrot and ‘A Convent Garden, Brittany’ (William John Leech) accessories. A clever combination of items that come together beautifully.

@justanovicinteriordesign

Vintage taxidermy meets metalwork and timber tones in this space and, coupled with a collection of moody, dark paintings, the results are a fascinating space in Debbie’s home in the West of Ireland.

@gillgeriu

This renovated cottage in Cork is major goals in terms of a family-friendly, but seriously style-conscious, kitchen and dining space. From the low-hanging lamps to the colour pop chairs and monochrome rug, we’re all about this mix of function and fashion.

@vintagehillcork

The wall plates alone are enough to earn our admiration in the post below, but add in the fantastic gallery wall (complete with spoon detail) and a scrubbed timber table and we can’t resist!

@interiorsbycaroline

Decorative cats and decorative wallpaper make for a stunning display here from Caroline Flannery. It’s busy in all the right ways, showcasing how busy, colourful walls can make a space come to life and enhance already detailed accessories.
