We spend so much time pouring over Pinterest boards of our favourite interiors, we’d nearly forgotten how incredibly designed some of Ireland’s best bars, restaurants and hotels are.

From trendy hot-spots in the capital city to understated elegance down south, we’ve discovered some seriously drool-worthy interiors right here at home and we’ve compiled a list of our absolute favourites so you can take a peek at them too.

The Ivy, Dawson Street, Dublin.
One of the most Instagramable restaurants in the country, the outrageously opulent decor in the Ivy makes it a must see when we find ourselves in the city centre.

The Vintage Cocktail Club, Temple Bar, Dublin.
Once you’re inside the VCC, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a Prohibition-era speakeasy and you’ll leave absolutely enthralled. Smooth velvet chairs and eye-catching, art-deco type motifs on the bars and tables help sustain the 20’s feel throughout.

Token, Smithfield, Dublin.
Embrace your inner child and take in the retro games consoles that decorate the Smithfield based bar and restaurant. Whether it’s Pac-Man you fancy, or some Tetris, or even a game of pool, the 90’s retro-arcade style takes us back.

The Dean, Harcourt Street, Dublin.
Oozing with sophisticated cool, the neon signs, artful, modern decor and super-hipster vibe of the Dean makes it one of the most popular spots in Dublin city centre. We’d happily install a neon sign like this one in our house.

The Orangery at the Cliff at Lyons is dominated by glass walls and a domed ceiling, a super-elegant construction for high-tea we think.
