Check Out This Beautiful Japanese-Inspired Home in London!

In need of some interior inspiration for your spring cleanout / makeover?

The guys over at Apartment Therapy recently published an article about a beautiful Japanese-inspired home in London which should give you plenty of ideas as to what new elements you can introduce in your own home.

Combining typical Victorian architecture with Japanese interior design has resulted in an immensely satisfying living space for homeowner Yoko Kloeden and her family thanks to its calming atmosphere and gorgeous colour schemes.

Take the open plan kitchen and dining room combination for instance, which wonderfully utilises a large wall of windows to create an abundant source of natural light.

We love how it contrasts with the master bedroom’s dark colours and cosy setting.

Yoko’s office features an eye-catching contrast of black and white paint that is both refreshing and mature.

The kids get their own office in the form of this super cute homework zone, which is located beside the kitchen and features the same calming tones found in the rest of this area.

Similarly, the children’s bedroom is nice and bright and makes good use of painted and varnished wood.

Finally we have the family bathroom, which is decent-sized and also features the same invigorating colour scheme found in Yoko’s office.
