Established in 1974, Michael Murphy Home Furnishing began as and has remained a family-run Irish business.
This close-knit, community mentality is a keystone of the company, and as we expand and new positions open up, we hope to discover like-minded new talents across various departments for our six stores – Newbridge, Airside, Sandyford, Blanchardstown, Wexford and New Ross – as well as our Newbridge-based head office.
Our mission is to provide exceptionally stylish, quality interiors, with unrivalled customer service and remarkable value. With this goal in mind, we aim to find the very best staff to join our team, committed to their training and personal development, so they may flourish and contribute to the company in a meaningful way.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
“If you’re thinking of making your next career move with us here at Michael Murphy Home Furnishing, it may be beneficial to get a little insight into who we are, our values and the story of our company.
We are a family-run business – and always have been – and this has not only given us stability in management, but also a close-knit framework when it comes to staff and communication. I myself am very hands-on and active in the everyday running of our head office and stores and we have a fantastic team across the board, some of whom have been with us for over thirty-five years. It’s due to the combined effort of everyone involved that we have achieved the successes we are so proud of – ideally with many more to come.
In terms of our history and longevity, last year we celebrated forty-five years in business, with our first store established in Newbridge, Co. Kildare in 1974. The last five years, in particular, have been a period of fantastic growth, as we have opened stores in three new locations in that time. Driving forward with this strong approach, we are looking forward to the future as it’s an exciting time for us, with so many new avenues to explore.
