Monday Mood Board: Modern Gothic

A love of decadent, dark detail, matched by references to Gothic architecture and culture makes for an interior style that may not be to everyone’s taste but creates an undeniably striking result. This style can be adapted to suit the needs of the space and the degree to which you might want to play upon the theme. It might mean a love of velvet and a skull motif, or more romantic tracery and moody florals; but whatever the take, this is one way to make a real statement in the home.

Living

Highlight: If you can spot the crouching gargoyle (right) sitting almost out of sight, that little ornament has to be an absolute winner, considering the theme.
