Quick Tips for Organising Your Bedroom

Bedrooms have a propensity for getting messy very quickly, but with these handy tips you should have your place of rest nice and tidy in no time.

The easiest thing you can do to declutter your bedroom is keep all surfaces, such as your nightstand, beside locker or vanity table, free from items you don’t use on a daily basis.

Try to keep cosmetics, clothing, books and similar items in designated drawers and storage spaces to prevent a build-up.

Clearing your floor of all footwear and storing shoes in your wardrobe or under the bed will make your bedroom more spacious and serene feeling.

Go through your wardrobe and remove any clothing you don’t wear anymore and donate these items to your local charity shop.

Pick a system for organising your clothing e.g. by clothing style, season or colour, and hang handbags on the inside of your wardrobe door if possible.

Bookshelves and wall cubbies are great for maximising the space in your bedroom and storing items in a neat and aesthetically pleasing way.

Remember to invest in a laundry basket or hamper if you don’t already have one, and try looking for one that can be stored on the back of the bedroom door.
