Design Tip: Pastels Are Going To Be HUGE in 2022.

Have you heard? Pastels are going to be BIG this summer.  Pastel pinks, greens, blues and lemons are a great way to brighten up your living space. They can be added as subtle pops of colour here and there, or you can go full-on lollipop and blast your interiors with these sugary shades. so let’s take look at how we’d style these pastel coloured hues at home:

Blending pastels delicately is definitely the way most of us will enact this trend at home. Some people can find a wash of just the one pastel colour in a room a little overpowering so we propose blending your pastels for a contemporary design. Our favourite mix is definitely pastel pink teamed with a striking lemon shade.

Think outside the box when redecorating your space to suit these trend. You don’t need to go the whole hog and paint the walls all manner of sweet coloured shades if you want to give this trend a try. We love pastel coloured prints mounted on a cream wall for a really fresh and contemporary feel.

No room in the house will escape a splash of these feminine hues it seems, as pastel kitchens take the design world by storm. Our favourite type of kitchen is one that’s bright and airy, with a really fresh, clean vibe. Update your kitchen cabinets by giving them a lick of pastel-coloured paint and watch the room be transformed. Mint green and gold are our absolute favourites.

Fancy giving your home workspace a glow-up? Well,  pastel-coloured prints and stationery fit the bill perfectly. Bonus points if you decide to go for pastel coloured office furniture.

Have we convinced you to redecorate in these striking colours yet?
