4 Instagram Home Renovations We’re Living For

Bringing together our love of Instagram interior accounts and the immersive process of house renovations, we have selected four Instagram house renovations that we really admire. More and more people are depicting their home’s journey as it moves from bare walls and brick to striking modern spaces. Whether it’s an old Victorian shell they’re working with, or an aged cottage in need of a full revamp, the results are staggering, from the general finish to the chosen furnishings and details.

There are so many we love, so there may be a second part to this post – so keep an eye out!

Justin Coakley is an interior designer who has transformed his own terraced London home into a stunning space, using a combination of masculine details, fresh greenery, dark wood and soft grey walls. Each item in this house is carefully chosen and placed with real intent. We reckon anyone would be thrilled to call this place home.

@crayvilla

Claire Williams has given her Victorian villa a punchy sense of style and a really individual feel; each room dressed with soft and moody blues and greys and decorated with the most spectacular wallpaper and colour-pop accessories. Her love of colour, vintage and patterns really come through. Hats off to you, Claire!

This space is actually a cottage for hire, but it’s so fresh and bright that it looks as inviting as any home could be. The minimalism throughout doesn’t affect the overall impact, as each room is carefully decorated. We can see how it’s a home for hire, judging by the empty counters and clean surfaces, but it’s exactly this open, free space that makes this beautiful scene so enticing. The white walls, stone detailing and traditional wooden beams work wonders. Ps. It’s dog-friendly too!

@theoldforgecottage

This gorgeous East Sussex cottage is the stuff of dreams when it comes to a traditional, country setting and style. It has undergone renovations, but the aesthetic is maintained through the key details – like the wooden ceiling beams and painted brick walls – to perfectly balance old and new, in a way that makes this a beautiful home for its modern family.
