Glasgow based content creator Kate Spiers is one of our favourite interior inspirations.  We love her carefully curated style, a clever mix of both scandi and bohemian influences.

So, when she and husband Jordan recently moved into their new home and began the task of redecorating, we were eager to follow the process.

In typical Spiers style, there’s no shortage of texture, from delicate velvet to durable rattan, varying wooden textures and luxurious marble too.

Our favourite room the power-couple of interiors have created to date has to be their living room.

Large bay windows flood the space with natural light and the high ceilings, typical of a Glasweigan tenement building, allow the space to feel bright and airy.

An artful mix of transitional furniture pulls the room together effortlessly.

To help you channel some of the great Kate La Vie’s interior style at home, we’ve put together a Michael Murphy Home Furnishing edit of some key pieces to include in your living space to help channel the look.
