For our final installment in our style crush series we wanted to feature the century old, Arts and Crafts inspired home of California-based blogger, influencer and content creator, Jacey Duprie.

Duprie and her husband Grant purchased the historical LA property over a year ago and employed super-sought after stylist and designer, Martha Mullholland to help blend their tastes to create this stunning, dark, moody and character filled home.

“The house really speaks to who I am,” says Duprie, orignally from a cotton farming background in Corpus Christi, Texas. “It teleports me back to my childhood, and it also conveys my strong fashion sense.”

The couples grand living room features an impressive fireplace still containing its original tiles created by leader of the Arts and Crafts movement, Ernest Batchelder. The earthy tiles are complimented by the deep rust coloured velvet curtains, and beautifully offset the couples collection of antique furniture.

Duprie installed a “pamper room,” located in a sunny nook of her home that was specifically for her.
“Jacey wanted this room to be feminine,” says the designer. “She uses it to have tea, read the newspaper, and just relax. It was fun to create a room with pink that didn’t feel too cutesy.” Martha Mullholland told Architectural Digest.

One of our favourite elements of the home has to be the oak and rattan bed frame that makes itself a real focal point in the bedroom. Paired with mid-century style night stands, the bedroom exudes a gorgeous, old world feel.
