In yesterday’s blog we talked about different ways you can lighten up the kitchen, and in today’s piece we’re having a look at some of the simple methods you can employ to keep your kitchen smelling fresh.
For instance, when cleaning the kitchen try to use a soapy water and white vinegar solution as this combination is great at neutralising odours.
Another easy way to keep things smelling fresh is to distribute a few dryer sheets throughout the kitchen e.g. on shelves, under the sink and in cabinets, as these are great for maintaining a nice smelling kitchen.
Similarly, hanging dried herbs or simmering lemon and orange citrus on the cooker will spread a beautiful scent throughout the kitchen.
Remember to clean your fridge and wipe down the shelves and drawers at least once a week as food can often get trapped between spaces leading to an unpleasant smell.
When it comes to keeping the kitchen smelling fresh, a little effort goes a long way.
